The two Stoke City players performed impressively during this international break, representing England U18.

While both players, who are under Steve Schumacher’s guidance at club level, have been recognized for their great talent and the promising future they have, with the potential to represent England's senior team one day, they completed three matches, although unfortunately, they did not secure a victory in any of the games, all of which ended in draws without either team gaining an advantage.

Sol Sidibe and Jadon Dixon Against France U18

The two Stoke City players competed at the highest level, facing France on their home turf. Both players started the match on the bench once again, but as the game progressed, coach Liam Bramley realized he needed them on the field. In the second half, Sol Sidibe and Jadon Dixon were both brought on.

The match had been very tight, with few opportunities to break the deadlock, but finally, the play that broke the 0-0 came when Sol Sidibe provided a brilliant assist to forward Trey Jonny, who scored the first goal, putting England up 1-0 at the time. However, France didn’t back down and managed to score an equalizer in the 69th minute. The match ended in another 1-1 draw, adding to England U18's series of tied games.

Sol Sidibe and Jadon Dixon saw minutes in all three of England’s matches, facing Portugal, Switzerland, and France. While neither player managed to score, Sol Sidibe did contribute with an assist in the match against France.

Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of these two players to Stoke City, hoping that Steve Schumacher will include them in his plans for the EFL Championship. Stoke City is now focused on securing victories and maintaining positive performances this season, with a highly competitive match against Oxford United coming up on September 14.
