Crucial international fixtures are approaching for the England U20 squad, as they prepare to compete in the Elite League U20.
Several key Stoke City players have been called up to represent England at this high level. England U20 will be playing two friendly matches against Italy U20 and Czech Republic U20, and all eyes will be on two of Stoke City's young stars.

Emre Tezgel and Ashley Phillips Representing England U20 during this FIFA Break
Both Emre Tezgel and Ashley Phillips are having positive seasons in terms of minutes with Stoke City. Stoke City, under the leadership of Narcís Pelach, has been gradually improving, though the young talents of the England U20 team haven't been fully integrated into the first-team plans yet.
Emre Tezgel has been an outstanding player for Stoke City at the start of the season, and despite coming off the bench recently, he continues to make a positive impact.
On the other hand, Ashley Phillips has not been featured in Narcís Pelach’s plans for recent matches. The last time Phillips played was against Plymouth Argyle, in a match Stoke City won 1-0. Despite that strong performance, Phillips hasn’t seen action in the EFL Championship since.

At just 19 years old, Ashley Phillips is an important defender with huge potential for Stoke City. He is expected to work hard to regain the trust of manager Narcís Pelach and get back into Stoke City's lineup. For now, both Tezgel and Phillips will shift their focus to international duty, where they will aim to represent England U20 at the highest level in their matches against Italy and the Czech Republic in the best moment for the players.
