The positive investment Stoke City will make in their training center
By Oscar Cortes
The Potters plan to greatly strengthen their training ground with this investment, which will include the construction of a building featuring luxury facilities for crucial aspects like rehabilitation, gym, recovery, nutrition, and more.
The idea behind this building is to establish the best foundation for optimal and appropriate training for Stoke City. Importantly, this facility will be used by the professional men's team, the women's team, and the club's youth categories.
A Promising Project for Stoke City
This investment by Stoke City will be the club's largest construction project since the Bet365 Stadium was built. The project's cost will range between 10 million and 12 million Euros in Clayton Wood.
Stoke City chairman Richard Smith also commented on this significant upcoming project for The Potters, which will impact both the EFL Championship and the Premier League.
"This development is enormous for Stoke City, both in terms of scope and importance. Once completed, it will elevate our first-team facilities to some of the best in the Championship and make them fit for the Premier League."
- Richard Smith
This will be a hugely significant impact in the history of Stoke City as a club. Additionally, this project is expected to be fully completed by September 2025.
"Moreover, as soon as the new facilities at Clayton Wood open, a remodeling of the current building will begin, transforming it into an elite home suitable for our ambitious women's team and our Academy, meaning that the benefit will be felt throughout our Club."
- Richard Smith
Stoke City's management is committed to doing things right, and with this investment, everything will become increasingly positive for The Potters. This ambitious endeavor aims to establish an extensive training ground, facilitating the hard work needed to achieve the long-desired return to the Premier League.
