Currently, the club is focusing on its promising young talents. Several young players have already shown significant potential despite their age, attracting considerable attention. Coaches Steve Schumacher and Chris Cohen are committed to nurturing these prospects effectively.
In the recent preseason match against Chester FC, Enre Tezgel and Niall Ennis were standout performers, showcasing their potential. Sol Sidibe also played crucial minutes, highlighting the priority given to young players who have much to prove on the field. This commitment to youth development, along with daily hard work and training, can yield positive results.

Rumors Surrounding Nikola Jojic's Future
However, this might not be true for another player. Rumors increasingly suggest that Nikola Jojic could soon leave Stoke City. Jojic joined the club on August 22, 2023, from Serbian football, where he had an impressive spell at Mladost. During his time there, he played approximately 95 matches, scoring 40 goals and providing 15 assists across both youth and senior teams.
Since arriving at Stoke City last season, Jojic has seen limited minutes with the first team, spending most of his time in the Premier League 2. He played 15 matches, scored 4 goals, and provided 2 assists in 1,051 minutes. Despite these contributions, he hasn't fully convinced the team's coaching staff.
With a market value of around £1.5 million, a transfer could be a viable option, providing Stoke City with a significant financial boost in this transfer window, especially since Steve Schumacher seems to already have his plans in motion for this preseason and Jojic does not appear to fit into them.
