Viktor Johansson’s Stats Against Norwich City

The 26-year-old Swedish goalkeeper had just returned from international duty, where he performed well, and was back as the starter for Stoke City against Norwich City. He played the full 90 minutes, making three crucial saves for the team. He practically prevented a certain goal for the visitors, showing great security between the posts and ensuring Norwich City scored only once.

We also saw Johansson perform positively when coming off his line, making two clearances with his fists and four aerial clearances. His three saves all came from inside the box, which made his job even more difficult, but he put in the effort to prevent Norwich from scoring more.

Additionally, Johansson had 42 touches of the ball, but his passing accuracy was lacking. He only completed 33% of his passes, making 24 attempts but completing only 8. Long balls were especially challenging to execute due to Norwich City’s pressing and ball recovery. Of the 19 long balls Johansson attempted, he completed only 3, making it a tough match for the goalkeeper in terms of distributing the ball.

Now, Stoke City is preparing for their next match against Bristol City on October 22, where they hope to secure a victory.
