The team is hoping that Narcís Pelach’s side can bounce back in their next match and break the streak of draws with a win. While the team showed better offensive ideas, they remain fragile and weak in defense. The 18-year-old player Lewis Koumas showcased his immense talent in this match. After arriving from Liverpool this season, he showed great promise at the beginning but had slowed down in recent weeks. However, in this match, he returned to his best form.
Narcís Pelach gave him the confidence and opportunity to start, and in just the second minute, he capitalized on an assist from Tom Cannon to score the first goal of the game for Stoke City. Just a few minutes later, Koumas provided an assist to Andrew Moran to make it 2-0 at that point in the match.
Koumas played 71 minutes before being replaced by Niall Ennis. During his time on the pitch, he was crucial to Stoke’s offense, scoring a goal and making 21 touches.
