Minimal Playing Time for Koumas
Lewis Koumas, who was called up to the senior Wales squad for their UEFA Nations League Group B matches, faced limited opportunities to make an impact:
- November 16 - Wales vs. Turkey: The match ended in a 0-0 draw, with Koumas only appearing briefly toward the end.
- November 19 - Wales vs. Iceland: Koumas remained on the bench throughout the match, watching Wales secure an impressive 4-1 victory.
In the second game, with Wales already leading 3-1 by the 65th minute, there was hope that Koumas might be introduced to gain valuable experience. Unfortunately, the manager opted not to use him, leaving the young forward without a chance to contribute further.
