Over the past couple of weeks there has been a handful of Stoke City players who have been out of action due to battling injuries and illness — Those players include midfielder Bersant Celina (tonsilitis), forward Nick Powell (knee), center-back Axel Tuanzebe (fatigue), and full-back Josh Tymon (ankle).

Of those four players at least one of them should be back this weekend and another one could be getting closer to making his return to the pitch. Per media reports, Bersant Celina’s tonsilitis spell could be nearing an end and he should be back on the pitch against Millwall on Saturday.

As for Axel Tuanzebe who has been battling leg injuries/fatigue, he could also be close to returning to the pitch and making his Stoke City debut — Tuanzebe who has yet to suit up for any team this season, has been in need of training to regain his fitness. Which could be getting closer and closer each day.

The only two players who most likely don’t have any chance at suiting up on Saturday could be Josh Tymon and Nick Powell — Powell’s knee injury has been deemed to be a somewhat serious one. And Josh Tymon’s ankle injurie seems to be a nagging one that will take a little more time before the talented left-back returns to action.

Barring any other updated injuries on Friday from Alex Neil, Stoke City should have everyone else available — The Potters will play their 2nd and final match this season against Millwall on Saturday at Bet365 Stadium. As once again Stoke City will be looking for key points late in the season.

Stoke City dropped the first meeting 2-0 way back at the end of July.
