Harry Clarke Departs Stoke City for Ipswich Town
Just about a week ago, Manchester City made the decision to recall Liam Delap from Stoke City and send the young striker on loan to Preston North End — Almost seven days later now and another Stoke City loanee is also packing his bags from The Potteries.
Per reports, Arsenal right fullback Harry Clarke has been recalled from his loan stint with The Potters. According to the same media reports, Clarke who’s moving on from Stoke City has now also signed a three year deal to join Ipswich Town in League One.
In total Clarke will finish his time with Stoke City having made 20 total appearances and scoring two goals — Of the two goals Clarke scored, his most remembered moment for Stoke City will be his goal against league leading Burnley earlier this season.
As for Stoke City now that Clarke has left, The Potters could face some depth concerns at right fullback/wing-back. Without Clarke on the club the only other true right fullback or wing-back the team possesses is Dujon Sterling, who’s struggled with injuries this season.
