Stoke City loan player reports
By Kee Min
Bojan Krkic
Perhaps the most disappointing loanee out of the bunch. Bojan only started two games so far while making four additional appearances as a sub.
His last start came in September, where he was subbed off after 63 minutes in a crushing defeat against Villareal. Ever since then, he failed to be on the field for twenty minutes.
It’s not as if Alaves or his teammates are playing very well. Both El Munir and Ibai Gomez, his direct competitors, are immensely struggling. While Bojan has not made any notable impact whatsoever during his time on the field, you would think the manager would try something else. It’s hard not to suspect an attitude problem.

It is unlikely that the Spaniard will find a place at the Britania either. The attacking options for Stoke have been solid so far. Xherdan Shaqiri, Mame Diouf, and Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting will be ahead of him in the pecking order. It’s a shame that once-highly regarded player has fallen this much, there is no future for him in Stoke.
