Marc Muniesa is having himself a solid year in Girona. He started seven games already, including in a victory against Real Madrid. The Spanish side has been utilizing three-back formation and Muniesa has been heavily featured as the left-sided center back. The fact that he is already being acquainted with the formation will make it easier for him to be integrated into the team.

The Spaniard has shown that he is a great interceptor of the ball while distributing the ball with comfort. He did miss four games due to an injury, but it was reassuring to see him reclaim his starting spot right away. He was featured in last two games for Girona before the international break.
