Throwback Thursday: Peter Crouch Goals

Peter Crouch has been a member of Stoke City since 2011 and during his time with the club, he has produced some absolutely fantastic goals.

Here are three memorable goals that Crouch has scored during his time with Stoke City. The striker has scored over 100 Premier League goals and has scored some absolutely fantastic goals for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. but today we take a look at his achievements at Stoke.

March 24, 2012 vs. Manchester City

This is regarded as one of Crouch’s best goals of his career. A perfectly placed shot from well outside the 18 came out of nothing. It’s the definition of a wonder goal as Stoke earned a point against City, who went on to win the EPL title in 2012. A moment any Stoke supporter won’t soon forget.

Feb. 1, 2017

Crouch becomes the 26th EPL player to score 100 career goals in the English top flight. He tucks home a pass from Marko Arnautovic and celebrates in style with the robot dance. The match would end in a 1-1 draw with Everton.

Aug 23rd, 2016 vs. Stevenage

A hat-trick against Stevenage in the League Cup was capped off with this stunning bicycle kick from Crouch.

These are just three of Crouch’s 38 goals for Stoke. This season the forward has netted eight goals in 14 appearances, with his best performance coming against Stevenage in August in which he recorded his only hat-trick of the season thus far.

Crouch’s best goal scoring season with Stoke, to date, was the 2011/12 season where he scored 14 goals in 37 appearances. His career total is 136 goals in 535 appearances in his 19-year professional career. Although often criticized, one has to respect his goal scoring record during his career.
