Stoke City this past Saturday once again struggled in attack, as The Potters dropped all three points on the road at Luton Town with a 1-0 loss — Stoke City’s latest loss now keeps The Potters hovering just above relegation at 19th on the table with 33 points (just six points above 22nd).
On the day against Luton Town The Potters managed to edge out Luton town in terms of possession (53% to 47%). But with that 53% of possession, Stoke City was unable to get anything meaningful going in attack.
Stoke City overall against Luton Town were only able to get seven total shots off towards goal. On top of those overall attempt numbers, The Potters were only successful at putting one of those attempts on target on the day.
