Stoke City have only scored a paltry 19 goals this season and with Benik Afobe looking like he is in some sort of scoring crisis, Rowett has decided to pursue Adams in the January transfer window to try to get the ball in the back of the net more often for Stoke City as the season moves towards a busy and crucial stage.
Che Adams would be a good signing for Stoke City, he has a track record of producing when it matters and has often been described as a game-changer, for a squad like Stoke City which looks devoid of a star man, Adams could become a crucial man for Stoke City.
With Benik Afobe on a barren run of ten games without a goal and with only Peter Crouch and Mame Biram Diouf on the bench for Rowett, it is clear that signing a top-quality forward will be needed if Stoke City are to push for promotion.
However, the measly £5m transfer offer that Stoke have tabled for Che Adams simply does not reflect Adams true value and it seems evident that Birmingham City will reject the offer, after all, Fulham in the last transfer window tabled a £10m offer for Che Adams.
It is often said, goals win games and should Stoke City sign Adams they’ll have a man that guarantees goals.
